Tottenham are in contact with Fiorentina for goalkeeper Sebastien Frey.
Frey is currently recovering from a knee injury and not expected to play again this season.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Spurs are interested in signing Frey for next season - but only if Fiorentina allow the Frenchman to leave on a free transfer.
Spurs are currently in new contract talks with No1 Heurelho Gomes.
