Tottenham seek loan deal for Inter Milan striker Mauro Zarate

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing Inter Milan striker Mauro Zarate.

Parent club Lazio are ready to listen to offers for the 24-year-old Argentine, who is out of favour at the Serie A club, says the Daily Mail.

And Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is plotting a loan move for Zarate, who impressed during a loan spell at Birmingham four years ago.

Agent Barry McIntosh, who was involved in Zarate's move to St Andrews, said: "There is a lot of interest in Mauro.

"Spurs are among the clubs interested in bringing him back to England.

"He made a positive impact at Birmingham previously and his reputation has continued to grow."
