Tottenham's Walker happy to dip his hand into the lottery

Tottenham defender Kyle Walker was overjoyed after helping his side to a 2-1 win over North London rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane today.

The 21-year old right-back hammered home a 25-yard strike in the 73rd minute that caught Gunners keeper Wojciech Szczesny by surprise to give Spurs an unforgettable derby win and he was delighted with his contribution after the match.

"It doesn't get much better than that. I just picked the ball up and hit it," he told Sky Sports1.

"I had one of them against Fulham for Aston Villa so I thought why not take a chance.

"I just thought why not have a go. If you don't buy a lottery ticket you don't win the lottery.

"Arsenal are a good team and we found it difficult at times but we dug deep and got the result that we wanted."
