Hamburg have revealed that they will not give up on Tottenham ace Rafael van der Vaart.
The German club were heavily linked with a move for the Dutchman earlier this summer but he opted against a Spurs departure.
However, Hamburg director of sport Frank Arnesen suggests that the club could return with a late bid for van der Vaart with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levby susceptible to a potential sale.
"In this world I am not ruling out anything, but at the moment it is not realistic," Arnesen told Kicker.
"I know Tottenham boss Daniel Levy loves to cash in high transfer fees in the final minutes of the transfer window."
