Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart has wished departing teammate Luka Modric all the best at his new club.
The Croatian has signed a five-year deal with Real Madrid and van der Vaart hopes he does well at the club he left for North London in August 2010.
"Sorry to see Luka go. A great player and person! I wish him all the best at my old club #RealMadri," he posted on Twitter.
