Tottenham's Townsend loaned to QPR

Tottenham midfielder Andros Townsend has joined QPR on loan where he will join Jermaine Jenas who has signed an 18-month deal.

R's boss Harry Redknapp moved for the 21-year old this evening and he will now undergo his ninth loan spell away from White Hart Lane since joining the senior ranks in 2009.

"Andros Townsend has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season, while the Club has also reached agreement for the permanent transfer of Jermaine Jenas to Loftus Road," read Tottenham's official website.

Townsend has previously spent time with Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, MK Dons, Ipswich Town, Watford, Millwall, Leeds United and Birmingham City.
