Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has compared Christian Eriksen to former Arsenal star Dennis Bergkamp.
The 22-year old Danish attacking midfielder scored his seventh Premier League goal to help Spurs force a 3-3 draw at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Former Ajax ace Eriksen produced a stunning injury-time equaliser when he cut in from the left before thundering home from just outside the area to deny Albion a vital home victory.
In the wake of the timely leveller, Sherwood likened Eriksen to Gunners great Bergkamp who had a penchant for being completely calm around the goal during his sublime career.
"Eriksen is one who just can't be left out. He's Bergkamp-esque," said Sherwood.
"You want someone to rush those chances, as an opposition manager, but when it lands to him you know he's going to be ice cold.
"Once he cut inside I knew the net was catching the ball."
The draw allowed Tottenham to remain sixth on the Premier League table, just four points behind north London rivals Arsenal.
