Tottenham midfielder Sandro has Serie A ambitions but insists he is happy playing in the Premier League for now. The 23-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from Brazilian side Internacional for a fee of £8million in the summer of 2010.

"A future in Italy for me? Right now my goal is to recover and think about my team Tottenham," Sandro told fcinternews.it.

"Italy has one of the toughest leagues in the world and all players want to play in a league of that level.

"But the Premier League has some of the best players in the world and I feel happy to play in England."
