Harry Redknapp has rubbished claims that Tottenham star Gareth Bale could be sidelined for a weeks with a hamstring problem.
It was reported yesterday that Bale sustained a small tear in his hamstring whilst training with Wales ahead of their midweek friendly with Costa Rica and would miss up to three weeks.
But Redknapp has refuted those claims, saying that Bale could even be available for Sunday's home clash with Manchester United.
"He hasn't even got a tear in his hamstring. It's just a little bit tight but it should be okay. It shouldn't be a problem.
"We will have to wait and see how he is (for the weekend). Hopefully he should be okay.""That's absolutely a million miles wrong," he said when quizzed about the winger's expected spell out of the game.
