Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp wasn't too worried about the red card shown to star recruit Rafael van der Vaart in Wednesday's Champions League win over FC Twente.
The Dutchman had an incident-packed night, missing a penalty, scoring a goal and receiving two yellow cards by the hour-mark and although Redknapp has lost him for the vital clash with Inter Milan on October 20, he didn't believe the challenge that had him sent off was too bad.
"Van der Vaart will now be suspended for Inter Milan," said Redknapp.
"I was thinking about subbing him just before he got sent off.
"He made bit of a rash challenge on the other side and I was concerned that if he made one more that was mistimed he'd be sent off.
"It wasn't a malicious challenge. It was a bad forward's challenge. I've seen a lot worse."
