Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has allayed any injury fears concerning new recruit Rafael van der Vaart.

The Dutchman was subbed off in the 49th minute of the 2-2 Champions League draw with Werder Bremen on Tuesday night with a leg problem but Redknapp said it was more precautionary than anything.

"We got him off before he actually got a tear," Redknapp said.

van der Vaart will be monitored ahead of the weekend's league clash with Wolves at White Hart Lane.
