Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino felt Burnley performed well to produce a 0-0 draw at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Sean Dyche's Clarets made life tough for Spurs who were unable to create a big number of chances in Lancashire.
After the stalemate, Pochettino praised Burnley for the wag they went about it while suggesting his side were good but not quite good enough to come away with a win.
"We don't have the three points, and for that I am disappointed. I think that [looking back] after the game, Burnley pressured us and our performance was good, but not enough to win the game," he told Sky Sports.
"I think that Burnley is a very difficult team here, and three weeks ago Manchester City lost. It's a very difficult game.
"I think we created chances, maybe it was enough to score. But at the end, I'm disappointed for the result. At the end, the performance was good, but only one point."
