Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out any possibility of Paulinho returning to former club Corinthians on loan.
Rumours suggest that the Brazilian side are looking to bring the 26-year old back home after he departed to join Spurs in 2013 but Pochettino insists he is going nowhere despite falling down the White Hart Lane pecking order recently.
"No, no Tottenham player, including Paulinho, will be loaned to Brazil. There is no chance," the Argentine told ESPN.
"Paulinho arrived late, one of the last players to join the squad after the World Cup.
"There isn't any problem. He is training and doing well, it's just a technical decision."
Paulinho has made just one substitute appearance in the Premier League but has started all four Europa League matches thus far.
