Tottenham defender Ryan Nelsen could be set for action in the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea this weekend.
Spurs meet their London rivals at Wembley on Sunday with New Zealand international Nelsen a likely candidate to replace Younes Kaboul if he does not recover from the injury sustained in the 2-1 home loss to Norwich City on Monday.
With William Gallas and Ledley King also in doubt, the former Blackburn Rovers skipper is an option for Harry Redknapp and admits he will relish the opportunity if it falls his way.
"We've got a squad of 25, every one of them will be needed at some stage in the rest of the season. It's really important and I'm looking forward to it.""I've played them (Chelsea) for the last eight seasons, we've all played against them. That's why I was brought in, to help out if situations arise like that, of course," he said.
