Former Croatia midfielder Zvonimir Boban believes Luka Modric is the key to the current national team's chances at Euro2012.
The Tottenham ace ran the show as Slaven Bilic's Croatian side beat Republic of Ireland 3-1 on Sunday and former AC Milan star Boban has compared him to Italy ace Andrea Pirlo who plays a similar style for the Azzurri and the Rossoneri.
"He has great vision of the game and drives the team forward, and feels the responsibility of being a leader for the team.""Modric is Croatia's player to watch. If Pirlo is important to Italy, then I can't even begin to imagine what Croatia would do without Modric," Boban told Sky Sports Italia ahead of tomorrow's clash between the two nations.
