Luis Fabiano has signed a new deal with Spanish club Sevilla, ending Tottenham's pursuit.
The 29-year old Brazil international had twice become a target for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp this summer but he has committed himself to his current club by penning a two-year contract extension.
Redknapp admits that Sevilla were asking far too much for Fabiano, indicating he is not at all heart-broken that the player snubbed White Hart Lane again.
"He's a player I like but they're talking crazy money for him, for a player of that age," he said.
"One year left on his contract, in excess of £24-25million, the figures don't stack up. That wouldn't be a goer."
