Tottenham's Lloris admits he feared for Swansea's Michu

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed that he was frightened of doing major damage after a collision with Swansea City's Michu on Sunday.

Lloris and the Spanish ace clashed in an aerial battle as Spurs won 1-0 at White Hart Lane which left the latter on the ground in what appeared to an unconscious state.

Michu was later able to walk form the pitch but Frenchman Lloris admits he feared for his opponent after making accidental contact when punching the ball clear of danger.

"I was terrified when I saw him on the ground. I had to go for it and impose myself," he said.

"I made the decision to punch and unfortunately there was a big collision.

"It's OK, he got up and it was more a fear than injury. I asked him several times, he said there's no problem."
