Tottenham striker Robbie Keane may miss Republic of Ireland's Euro2012 qualifier with Macedonia this weekend.
The RoI captain is believed to be struggling with a groin injury after starring in last week's Carling Nations Cup in which he led his side to a drought-breaking trophy.
Ireland are currently sitting on top of Group B but are on the same amount of points as both Russia and Slovakia. A win against Macedonia would put them in a very solid position but they may have to do it without Keane as well as the suspended Richard Dunne and injured quarter Darron Gibson, Damien Duff, Kevin Doyle and James McCarthy.
