Tottenham striker Harry Kane has sought advice from England team-mate Wayne Rooney after his failure to score this season.
The 22 year old was the second highest Premier League scorer in 2014-15 with 21 goals but is goalless in four games this campaign.
"I've been able to pick his brain. Wayne has done it year in, year out," said Kane.
"I like talking to players like that and seeing how he has dealt with it."
Rooney, 29, has scored 48 goals for England - one short of Sir Bobby Charlton's record of 49 goals.
"As a striker you always go through spells when you're on fire and sometimes it doesn't go your way but I'm full of self-belief that I've got goals in me," Kane added.
