Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes will miss up to four weeks of action after having surgery on his knee.
The Brazilian gloveman, who has fallen behind Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini this season, had an operation today to repair a torn meniscus and will be out of action for around a month.
"Following consultation with a specialist, it is expected that the Brazil goalkeeper will return to training in four weeks.""Heurelho Gomes has today [Tuesday] undergone surgery on his left knee after a scan revealed a tear of his medial meniscus," read a statement on the club's official website.
