As Tottenham booked a place in the last eight of the Champions League, defender William Gallas admitted that a clash with Barcelona is not on the agenda. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp claimed his side could make it through to the final at Wembley on May 28, but Gallas is unsure how far the team can go in the competition.
"Nobody knows how far we can go, not even us," he said.
"We know we have the quality to beat any team but now we have to understand the Champions League is not easy.
"All the players now know we have the quality so we are strong. Everybody feels the group is very strong. It's good for the future."
After seeing Barcelona knock out Arsenal with a football master class at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night, Gallas admits his side will struggle to make it to Wembley if they are paired with the Catalan giants in next week's draw.
"I won't say we want to play against a small team - but we don't want to play against Barcelona," he added.
"They are the best team in the world."
