Tottenham’s dos Santos not going to Italy

Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos will not be making a reported move to the Italian Serie A says his agent.

The Mexico international, who has experienced loan spells at Ipswich Town and Galatasaray recently, is being linked with a move to Italy but Lodovico Spinosi says those rumours are untrue, although he stated that a move would be considered if something appropriate came up.

"At this time, neither Genoa nor Milan are close to him. We talked with the sporting director of Genoa and he told us that Giovani is a very interesting player but is currently not a priority," Spinosi told Calciomercato.it.
"Until last season Spurs wanted to sell Dos Santos but now Redknapp understands his value. However I think if the right offer came, the club could satisfy the desire of the player.”
