Mousa Dembele will see a specialist at the end of the season after playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks, reports the London Evening Standard.

Dembele has an ongoing foot injury that means he finds it difficult to play 90 minutes regularly.

After aggravating the problem in the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace last month, Dembele did not start any of the next three matches.

Now the midfielder, who turns 30 on July 16, is to have medical advice to determine the best way forward.
