Jermain Defoe has reportedly agreed a £90,000-a-week ($146,000) contract with MLS club Toronto FC.
According to the Mirror, the Tottenham and England striker has accepted a four-year deal with the Canadian club which is managed by former Spurs teammate Ryan Nelsen.
It is believed that the deal will include a full family shift to Toronto, paid for by the club, and will land Tottenham up to £6million ($9.7m).
Defoe was being linked with a possible January move to former West Ham United but it appears as though he will now make the move to North America ahead of the 2014 MLS season.
