Michael Dawson is fulsome in his appreciation of Tottenham team-mate Sandro for his contribution to the Spurs cause this campaign. The Brazil international has enjoyed a successful first season at the north London club, making 24 appearances and starring in the club's Champions League last-16 tie with AC Milan.
"Sandro's performances in the Champions League were great and he certainly makes our job a lot easier," Dawson said.
"He sits just in front, wins balls, breaks play up, tracks players and we all know now he can score goals after that strike at Chelsea. He's a top, top player.
"He's also a great lad to have in and around the club.
"He's still learning English but he's a full part of the banter and everyone loves him in the changing room."
