The international break is a good time to have winning momentum according to Tottenham ace Gareth Bale.
Spurs have won four of their last five in all competitions, with their only loss coming in a penalty shootout to Stoke City in the Carling Cup, and the Wales winger is delighted that the North London club has gone into the week off with winning form.
"It's massively important to have that momentum and to go away on an international break on a high," he told the club's official website.
"We've done that, now it's important we get everyone back from the internationals fully fit and get our heads back on it."
Tottenham take on the undefeated Newcastle United at St James' Park when the Premier League returns and Bale is aware the Magpies will provide a tough task.
"They've made a great start to the season," he added.
"It will be a test for us, but one we'll be ready for and hopefully we'll go up there and make it five on the trot in the Premier League."
