Tottenham star Gareth Bale feels Tuesday's friendly with the LA Galaxy will be a good test for the North London club.
Spurs are up against the reigning MLS champions at The Home Depot Center on July 24 and Bale is well-versed to know the quality of some of the Californian clubs stars such as ex-Tottenham striker Robbie Keane and veteran midfielder David Beckham.
"We watch them a lot; they're on TV a lot now with David Beckham and Keane playing," said Bale. "The standard has gone up massively over the last couple of years and it's great to be out here in preseason and play teams like this. It's good match practice.
"They're great players. I've obviously played with Keano for a few years at Tottenham and Beckham came to train with us for a while (last year).
"They're great players and a great team so it's going to be a great test and one that we're looking forward to."
