Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has made it clear that the club will not be signing a new striker before Thursday night's transfer deadline.
Spurs have been linked with bringing in a new attacking player this winter, including Barcelona's David Villa, but Villas-Boas says that is simply not the case.
"David Villa? No, I don't think so!" Villas-Boas told Sky Sports after the 1-1 draw with Norwich City at Carrow Road.
"At the moment I have told you that we are willing to take a risk on Jermain Defoe's injury. Defoe played 90 minutes and played very well.
"No, I don't think so [there will be any players leaving]."
