Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that Tottenham are keen on Roberto Soldado.
Spurs reportedly had a £22million offer turned down by Valencia for the Spanish striker and although Villas-Boas stopped short of that, he did make it clear that he is a big fan of the player.
"At the moment Soldado's just one of the players we're interested in," said Villas-Boas.
"We are looking for a striker to strengthen our squad, to give us more strength in depth. Soldado is a player we have been following. His career speaks for itself.
"I think he is a great striker but there is isn't any deal being struck at the moment, just interest and conversations."
