Tottenham ace Lucas Moura admits a full preseason has set him up for a big campaign.

Lucas was superb for Spurs as they defeated Manchester United on Monday, scoring twice in the process.

The Brazil international told RMC: "We did a very good preseason, we worked very hard and it's very important to start like this.

"Here in England, it's very dynamic football, we run a lot. Sometimes it's not easy for a Brazilian. We must follow, we must continue like this.

"This is only the beginning."
