Manchester City are ready to offer £15 million for West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.
The Sunday Mirror says the Hammers are desperate to keep hold of the England defender, who still has two years remaining on his contract at Upton Park.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is also keen on Upson after the news that Ledley King, Michael Dawson and Jonathan Woodgate will all miss the start of the season.
