Tottenham are moving for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.

The Sun says the England defender will be allowed to leave Manchester United this summer following the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been looking for cover in that position and was in the race for Harry Maguire before Leicester snapped him up. Swansea's Alfie Mawson is believed to be another option.
