Tottenham are keeping tabs on Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.
The Mirror says Spurs moved for the 24-year-old Cameroon international last summer but £5m-rated Kameni insisted he wanted to stay in Spain.
But he is out of contract next summer and has shown no inclination of wanting to sign a new contract.
Espanyol sporting director Paco Herrera has lost patience and has now given Kameni an ultimatum - if he does not sign by the first week in January, they will sell him.
The former Liverpool coach said: "What he has said up until now gives me the feeling he is not interested in staying.
"He has had our offer on the table for some time and we have not had a clear answer.
"The club is going to put a time limit on it, the first week of January, and if nothing is done then we will start looking at other options. We need to move things along."
Kameni rejected a £4.5m move to Tottenham in June because then boss Juande Ramos wanted a clause written into his contract banning him from playing in the Africa Cup of Nations.
