Clint Dempsey has been thrilled with the way Tottenham has fought back in the past week.
Spurs have made it three wins in a row in the league since the horror 5-2 North London derby loss to Arsenal on November 17 and the USA international could only speak highly of the performances of the team which now sits fourth on the table.
"It's difficult to get results in this league, period," he told the club's official website.
"We were going through a tough spell, but we've responded with three wins in a row. That's great, it lifts us up the table and now it's about pushing on from here."
