Investec has renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Tottenham Hotspur for another year, reports SportsPro. The financial services company's logo will again appear on the front of the London club's playing shirts for its games in cup competitions this season - the Uefa Europa League, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup.
Autonomy software brand Aurasma remains Spurs shirt sponsor for Premier League matches.
Financial terms have not been revealed. Reports at the time of the original deal valued Investec's commitment at an annual US$4 million, though its fee may not match that this time around with Tottenham participating in lower-profile European competition.
Raymond van Niekerk, the global marketing director at Investec, said: "It is a pleasure to extend our association with Tottenham Hotspur. We continue our partnership with a club that complements our brand and gives us the excitement of being involved with world class football.
"We have enjoyed some exciting cup runs, reaching the Champions League quarter final two seasons ago and the FA Cup semi-final last year and are looking forward to this season's cup competitions with great anticipation."
Tottenham Hotspur head of partnerships Fran Jones added: "We're delighted that Investec has decided to continue as the club's domestic and European cup shirt sponsor. We have worked closely with Investec over the past two years on a number of successful campaigns both across the UK and whilst on tour in South Africa and we look forward to continuing this close relationship over the coming season."
