Tottenham remain keen on Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.
The Sunday Express says Spurs are aware they can bring in Newcastle United's Ba if they exercise the £7m release clause in his contract.
Spurs are looking at Ba as an option if they fail to tie up a deal for Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor, who they had on loan last season.
