Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that the squad and staff will spend Thursday night in Florence to ready themselves for the Capital One Cup final.
Spurs meet Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in the Europa League Round of 32 second leg tomorrow night ahead of Sunday's League Cup decider against London rivals Chelsea at Wembley and Pochettino feels it is important to prepare for a shot at silverware in the correct manner.
"It is a very busy period. It is difficult to recover the players so we decided to stay here in Florence after the game," said the Spurs manager.
"We will train here before flying back to London. I think it is very important to sleep well after the game, to eat well and to recover.
"On Sunday is another final so for that we need to provide our players with all the best things to arrive fresh on Sunday."
The north London outfit take a 1-1 draw to Florence after Roberto Soldado and Jose Maria Basanta traded first-half goals at White Hart Lane last week.
