The 22-year-old has scored just one goal in the Premier League this season, and the Mirror says Spurs are willing to cut their losses on the striker this summer.

After scoring a staggering 27 goals in the Eredivisie last season he has failed to adjust to the Premier League as Harry Kane's understudy.

As Tottenham have yet to pay all of the fee, Janssen could be heading back to Holland with Spurs taking a relatively small financial hit.
