Tottenham are in talks with Olympique Marseille over the sale of Benjamin Stambouli.

The People says the Frenchman only joined Spurs last summer, arriving from Montpellier for around £5million after impressing in Ligue 1.

However, the 24-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular spot in their first team.

That has alerted Marseille, who have reportedly contacted White Hart Lane regarding a possible move this summer.
