Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba blanked training yesterday.

The Sun says the £12million-rated centre-half rocked Rovers on Thursday by telling a French newspaper he wanted to leave.

Boss Steve Kean was due to hold talks with the Tottenham and QPR target to see if he was in the right frame of mind to play against Fulham today.

But Congo star Samba, 27, rang in sick as the rest of the squad went through their paces.

And it now puts a major question mark over whether he will be involved in a crunch game for the rock-bottom club.
