Tottenham are seeking talks with PSV Eindhoven over a price for Memphis Depay.
The People says the 20-year-old PSV Eindhoven winger, valued at around £13million, is a major target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino who was a fan even before Depay's heroics for Holland in Brazil.
Pochettino was impressed with Depay's energy and goal instinct and has asked White Hart Lane director of football Franco Baldini to investigate the chances of a successful bid.
Manchester United have also been linked with the youngster.
PSV are reluctant to lose Depay, with management insisting the youngster needs another season under his belt before making a big club move away.
