Tom Huddlestone could feature against Wigan a week on Saturday after four months on the sidelines with injury. The England midfielder will return to full training on Friday, having undergone ankle surgery in November.
And Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was today confident the 24-year-old, virtually an ever-present this season until injury struck, would be in contention for the April 2 clash at the DW Stadium.
"Tom's a fantastic footballer and it's great to have him back training," Redknapp told his club's official website.
"We've two weeks now where we can really work with him and hopefully get him ready for the next game.
"There is no reason why he shouldn't make that with a fortnight's training."
