Tottenham are preparing a bid for Malaga midfielder Sergi Darder.

Darder has declared in the last 24 hours he is ignoring transfer rumours, which has also seen him linked with Manchester City.

The Daily Star says Spurs plan to bid for Darder when the market opens in January.

The youngster is rated at £12.5 million by Malaga.
