Wilson Palacios says in Luka Modric, Tottenham boast one of the "best players in the world".
Palacios often acts as Modric's minder in Spurs' midfielder.
He told Spurs TV Online: "For me, he's one of the best players in the world.
"I've got him as a team-mate at Spurs and I play right alongside him at the moment and he's just one of the easiest players to play with and, in my opinion, of the best players in the Premier League at the moment.
"He gives us energy in midfield. He opens the game out and by doing that, he can then play his passes and make it easier for us all to play.
"It's a pleasure to play next to him at the moment."
