Tottenham are watching River Plate striker Teo Gutierrez.
The Mirror says Tottenham scouts flew to Argentina last week to check out Colombia's World Cup striker Teo Gutierrez.
The River Plate star failed to find the net against Velez, but his sparkling form for the table-toppers still caught the eye.
Gutierrez, who once pulled a gun on his own captain while playing for Racing Club, is available for £5million.
And the 29-year-old could provide the north London club with the extra firepower they need as Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado are struggling.
