Tottenham are weighing up selling Sandro to Villarreal for £12 million.
The Mirror says Villarreal would like to take Sandro and make him a key part of their side - and owner Fernando Roig has money to spend and is looking for some star signings.
Spurs may sell Sandro who is also wanted by Italian side Roma who have been trying to involve him in a swap deal for their striker Mirko Vucinic.
Villarreal have made contact with Sandro's agents and are poised to move if they are given any encouragement for Spurs who could need to raise funds for other targets.
