Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to send Nabil Bentaleb out on loan, according to reports.

Portuguese publication Record is suggesting that Spurs could farm the Algerian midfielder out to Benfica on a season-long agreement.

Spurs added Victor Wanyama to their already talented midfield this summer which could prompt Mauricio Pochettino to allow Bentaleb to gain some first-team regularity in Portugal.

It is understood that the 21-year-old is open to the temporary move as he is likely to be given the chance to experience plenty of game time under Rui Vitoria following the transfer of Renato Sanches to Bayern Munich.
