Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted Spurs are on the verge of signing 31 year old Croatian stopper Stipe Pletikosa. "We might be taking another Croatian, goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa, we have every chance. We might be getting him and that's good," Redknapp told Croatian Soccer Report.
"Player wise it's difficult really, we're still looking for one or two. We'll have to see who comes up."
Spurs already have a Croatian contingency of Luka Modric, Vedran Corluka and Niko Kranjcar in their ranks and Redknapp would have no hesitation about adding another to his squad.
"I would say the best boys I've ever managed in my life have been Croatian. I'm not just saying that. I think they are fantastic," he added.
"I've had Igor Stimac, Slaven Bilic, Davor Suker. Robert Prosinecki was a genius. Fantastic footballers and all great guys too."
