Former Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel has been welcomed to Tottenham by his new teammates.
Peter Crouch is delighted by the signing of Friedel, who made it clear on Tuesday that he intends to dislodge Heurelho Gomes as the club's first-choice stopper.
"He (Friedel) is up there with the top few goalkeepers in the Premier League so he will be a great addition," Crouch said.
"I'm sure that the manager hasn't finished there. He will be wanting to strengthen our side and make sure we are right up there next year."
