Tottenham players not fatigued after taxing Europa clash - AVB

Andre Villas-Boas did not offer the gruelling extra-time clash with Inter Milan on Thursday as an excuse for today's 1-0 home defeat to London rivals Fulham.

Spurs played 120 minutes in Milan in the Europa League before returning to domestic competition to offer an uncharacteristic performance but Villas-Boas felt it was more a organisational problem rather than fatigue that led to their downfall at White Hart Lane.

"It was nothing to do with the players today," he said.

"The effort and commitment were there. Probably the organisation wasn't, and it is down to us to get to business and correct that."

Former Tottenham star Dimitar Berbatov scored the only goal of the match, in the 52nd minute, as Fulham remained 10th on the table and Spurs dropped back to fourth.
